Elevating the Brand from Dev Tool to AI Powerhouse

We’re excited to share our latest work on AssemblyAI’s big brand campaign—where we helped transform their identity from “just a dev tool” to a leader in AI strategy. It was a wild ride, and one we’re incredibly proud of.





T H E  C H A L L E N G E

AssemblyAI, known for its industry leading AI models in speech-to-text and speech understanding, wanted to make an impact with a 60-second animated brand video. The goal was to shift perception from being seen as a dev tool to being recognized as a major player in the AI space. Oh, and they needed it done in four weeks—a timeline that had even the boldest among us saying “No way.”

AssemblyAI needed a beautiful, boundary-pushing visual approach—and we were all in. Working alongside Fuzzco, we built an approach that not only fit the tight timeline but also pushed creative boundaries.




T H E  S O L U T I O N

With the project win secured, we hit the ground running. The catch was we didn’t have a concept, visual direction or even a script yet. The first week of our four-week sprint was all about exploring. We tested, we experimented, we threw ideas at the wall—nothing was off-limits. AssemblyAI gave feedback that sent us back to square one. But that’s when we cracked it.

Their feedback helped us get to the heart of their brand’s message: it wasn’t just about converting speech to text—it was about capturing the meaning behind speech. With that insight, we had our visual direction in sight.

In the final two weeks, we went full throttle. With an all-star team of artists, animators, and creatives, we brought the vision to life—60 seconds of animation that packed a punch. The result? A stunning brand video that not only met AssemblyAI’s vision but exceeded it, shifting their identity to a leading voice in AI strategy.
